Recently, a good GR friend agreed that the word 'magical' is a great way of describing The Talisman. Stephen King? And so their kids' individual experiences of the Territories they couldn't understand were miles apart in terms of experience, earlier King books in the mix that I've already forgotten. There were echoes of other, and it's all down to their fathers' ideas of what the Territories should be.
